Project Manager Agricultural Structural Improvements (Civil Engineering)

The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a department of the Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs. It brings together the four divisions of agricultural measures, structural improvements, surveying and the GIS competence centre under one roof.
In the civil engineering sector of the Structural Improvements division, you actively shape the sustainable development of rural areas. In your varied range of tasks, you accompany infrastructure projects – from overall land improvements and farm road renewals to alpine water and electricity supplies, as well as restorations after natural events.
You coordinate the tasks of cantonal and federal specialist offices, advise clients and engineering offices, and ensure the professional implementation of projects. You are the central contact person for procedural legal questions. As part of project support, you regularly participate in field inspections and site visits. Your work provides insights into diverse specialist areas and the various regions of Graubünden.

For the civil engineering sector, we are looking for a Project Manager Agricultural Structural Improvements (Civil Engineering) from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Supervision of civil engineering projects and land consolidations (technical, administrative and financial)
- Advising sponsors and planning offices
- Review and processing of project ideas and funding applications
- Participation in cantonal consultations
- Participation in national and cantonal working groups to support the division management
- Contribution to the implementation of the ALG digitalisation strategy
What we expect from you
- University or university of applied sciences degree as an engineer in geomatics, construction, environment, agronomy or a comparable field
- Strong communication skills, independent, solution-oriented and decisive
- Structured and conceptual way of working
- Team player and willingness to embrace new tasks
- Very good German skills; additional cantonal languages are an advantage
