Verification Engineer in the Lab Support and Compliance Section
Background:
We are seeking a Verification Engineer for the Lab Support and Compliance 2 section. The section supports the laboratories as well as numerous internal and external partners involved in the development of large molecules. The section's tasks include the calibration, maintenance, qualification, and servicing of laboratory equipment and systems, as well as monitoring the infrastructure, for example, cold rooms.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Management of test equipment and device calibrations: planning, organisation, testing, evaluation, documentation, and archiving of calibrations
- Lifecycle management for test equipment, devices, and systems
- Qualification of laboratory equipment
- Management of all required Veeva documents
- Support of the monitoring system for online room monitoring (GMP laboratories)
- GMP compliance (process and documentation management)
- Mybuy orders for service requests
- Device supervisor for climate cabinets / refrigerators
- Deviation management: handling deviations and changes as owner and/or SME
Must Haves:
- Training as a laboratory technician, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or chemical field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in qualification and calibration of laboratory equipment in a regulated environment
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, strong GMP understanding
- Experience in change management
- Fluent German and English skills
- Digital skills, affinity for databases, affinity for technology
- Accurate and structured working style with high attention to detail
- IT knowledge: standard software, databases for device maintenance are advantageous (SAP)
- Flexibility, ability to prioritise and deliver reliably under pressure
- Team player, strong interpersonal skills
- Independent working style and openness to learning new things
- Good organisational skills
