Persag SA is looking for, on behalf of one of its renowned industrial partners located in the Biel/Bienne region, a Group Manager to strengthen a production team.

Your mission

In this role, you are responsible for the operational management of your sector and ensure the coordination of a large production team.

Your main responsibilities will notably include:

• Supervising, uniting and developing a team of more than 35 employees;
• Organising and managing the production activities within your scope;
• Sizing resources according to needs and objectives;
• Monitoring performance indicators and implementing necessary actions;
• Ensuring the achievement of objectives regarding quality, deadlines, costs, productivity and safety;
• Preparing and monitoring the operating budget of your group;
• Ensuring compliance with safety rules and company standards;
• Collaborating closely with various internal departments and partners;
• Identifying optimisation opportunities and promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
• Participating in defining and implementing the directions of your sector;
• Supporting employees in their development and fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a higher technical education, for example:

• HES Engineer,
• ES Technician in business processes,
• or equivalent training.

You also fit the profile if you are:

• Comfortable managing multidisciplinary teams;
• Able to unite and motivate employees with different profiles and backgrounds;
• Endowed with natural leadership and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Autonomous in decision-making and proactive;
• Comfortable with performance indicators and tracking objectives;

• Structured, organised and solution-oriented;
• Comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders.

A proven experience in a production environment is expected for this position.
