About the job
For our autism specialist center in Aarau, we are looking for you as of January 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Tasks
- You take on parts of the diagnostics in suspected autism spectrum disorder in children in collaboration with the responsible psychologist
- You advise the support system (e.g., early education, therapy centers), teachers, and schools and network with other specialist centers for diagnosed children
- You support and advise parents on educational issues
- You participate in "round tables" in schools and institutions
- You give lectures and provide valuable expert input
Profile
- You have completed training in special education/special needs education or a comparable degree
- You have experience with impaired toddlers or school-age children
- You are interested in the special field of autism and preferably have knowledge of autism-specific support methods
- You enjoy interdisciplinary teamwork as well as collaboration with schools, institutions, and other specialist centers
- You have strong analytical and organizational skills, bring high flexibility and teamwork skills, as well as an independent working style
- You are willing to attend external appointments throughout the canton, including evening appointments
