As a project manager, you take on a key position in the management and coordination of projects in the field of cloud-based software development for our railway customers. You lead the development and customer projects in this environment and work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and customers to realise innovative and market-oriented solutions.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Project management: You plan, control and monitor software development projects in the cloud environment. You ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and according to requirements. This also includes defining project goals, task distribution, risk management and quality assurance.
• Stakeholder management: You maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers in the railway sector, partners or other departments within Siemens. You understand the stakeholders' requirements and ensure that the developed software solutions meet their needs. You communicate project statuses and results appropriately to the stakeholders.
• Interface function: You act as the interface between development, engineering and product management as well as the customers. You coordinate with these departments and the technical core team to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Cloud-based systems: You work closely with our international development team to develop innovative solutions in the railway sector. You identify potential for optimising existing processes and drive the introduction of new technologies and methods.

• You bring enthusiasm for technical projects and can communicate complex technical contexts clearly
• You have profound practical knowledge in cloud technologies and ideally experience in architecture and programming of cloud-based software systems in the industrial sector
• You are open to new challenges and handle changing requirements flexibly
• You ideally have expertise in railway control technology
• You show a high degree of initiative and work result-oriented and efficiently
• You have a completed technical degree (ETH, FH) or relevant experience
• You have very good German and English skills
