As a project manager, you take on a key position in leading and coordinating projects in the field of cloud-based development for our railway customers. You lead development and customer projects in this environment and work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and customers to realize innovative and market-oriented solutions.
We are looking for a committed personality for this role with an interest in technical projects, joy in teamwork, and enthusiasm for working with agile project methods.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- You plan, control, and monitor development projects. You ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to requirements. This also includes defining project goals, task distribution, risk management, and quality assurance.
- You maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers in the railway environment, partners, or other departments within Siemens. You understand the stakeholders' requirements and ensure that the developed solutions meet their needs. You communicate project statuses and results appropriately to the stakeholders.
- You are the interface between development, engineering, and product management as well as the customers. You coordinate with these departments and the core team to ensure smooth project implementation.
- You work closely with our international development team to develop innovative solutions in the railway environment. You identify potentials to optimize existing processes and drive the introduction of new technologies and methods.
- You are interested in structuring and managing projects and are able to communicate technical contexts clearly.
- You have experience in project work and coordination (ideally in a technical environment).
- You are open to new challenges and handle changing requirements flexibly.
- Ideally, you have expertise in railway control technology.
- You have a completed technical degree (ETH, FH) or relevant experience.
- You show a high level of initiative and work result-oriented and efficiently.
- You have very good German and English skills.
