Who we are

Glarus is uniquely diverse. We are a dynamic, open-minded and culturally interesting community where it is good to live, work and enjoy. The Department of Forest and Agriculture manages a forest area of 3500 ha. We manage our forests with our own cable car, excavator processor and articulated tractor. Through young forest care, timber harvesting, cable crane construction and operation as well as heli-logging, we have varied work in the forest throughout the year.

  Competences

What you bring with you

• Professional training as Forest Warden EFZ / EBA

  • Driving licence category B and experience in handling machinery

    • High safety and sense of responsibility 

    • Team and communication skills 

    • Willingness to provide service
