About the job
The Fondation de Nant organises all public psychiatric care in the eastern Vaud region. It fulfils a public health mission at the request of the State of Vaud. Its care services are open to all, children, adolescents, adults and elderly people living in the districts of Aigle, Lavaux-Oron and Riviera-Pays-d’Enhaut. They are provided by Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Educators and other mental health professionals. The Fondation de Nant is a member of the Federation of Vaud Hospitals (FHV), the umbrella organisation of recognised regional hospitals of public interest in Vaud. It is also part of the Haut-Léman Health Network, which brings together health partners from the Riviera and Pays-d’Enhaut with those from the Vaud and Valais Chablais. Attached to psychoanalysis through its history, the Fondation de Nant currently identifies with its contemporary developments. The resulting clinical vision is reflected through its practices, training and openness to other approaches.

WE OFFER
The Fondation de Nant is a private institution recognised as being of public interest, mandated by the State to organise and provide psychiatric care in the eastern Vaud region. Working within the Fondation means evolving in a stimulating environment and a dynamic working framework.
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPEA) cares for young people aged 0 to 18 and their families in eastern Vaud. It guarantees accessible, continuous and adapted child psychiatric care to meet the population’s needs. Being a specialised clinical nurse within this unit means working in a motivating environment at the heart of an interdisciplinary team.
THE MISSION OF THE SCN
The specialised clinical nurse’s mission is to strengthen the quality, safety and excellence of nursing care by integrating evidence-based data and clinical expertise into practices. They support the evolution of nursing practices by promoting the integration of new knowledge, innovation and links with academic environments, and they support interprofessional collaboration while contributing to the continuous improvement of practices for the benefit of patients, teams and the institution. The activity will be divided as follows: 40% will be dedicated to the direct clinical care of patients in the outpatient consultation, while the remaining 60% will be devoted to other missions assigned to the SCN, as described above.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A nurse holding a HES-SO Bachelor’s degree in nursing with Red Cross recognition (or an equivalent qualification) and a Master’s degree in nursing sciences, with solid clinical experience, ideally in psychiatry.
We seek a person with analytical skills and scientific rigour, capable of supporting and developing teams with pragmatism and kindness. Ultimately, we wish to hire someone motivated by the Fondation’s mission and who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team.
