We are looking to strengthen our Engineering Team in the Flexible division in Fehraltorf with a:
Packaging Development Engineer (a, 100%)Your role with us:
- Development of packaging solutions from the quotation phase to handover into series production
- Technical management of customer projects in close collaboration with the customer as well as internal departments such as production, sales, laboratory, quality, and regulatory affairs
- Central contact person for your assigned customer base regarding technical questions throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Planning and execution of process validations as well as operations or performance qualifications of manufacturing processes (printing, laminating, roll cutting, sealing, pouch production)
- Evaluation and introduction of new materials, technologies, and processes to further develop our packaging solutions
- Support for production and quality departments in optimisation projects, customer complaints, and other technical issues
- Assistance in the further development of quality management according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485

What you bring with you:
- Higher technical or scientific education (e.g. mechanical engineering, materials science, plastics, packaging or process engineering)
- Good knowledge of packaging materials, packaging technologies, and manufacturing processes, preferably in medical technology or a regulated environment with an understanding of risk management and technical documentation
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and regulatory requirements of our product markets (e.g. MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 11607, Ph. Eur., REACH, EU 10/2011, PPWR)
- Interest in technical challenges in the packaging sector, especially innovative and sustainable solutions
- Structured, independent, and results-oriented working style with strong customer focus
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
