We offer tailored internships lasting six months for holders of a university degree in law in the Division of Law & International Affairs (four months) and in the Division of Trademarks & Designs (two months). The internships start respectively in February, May, August, and November.

Main Tasks
- Verify the existence of reasons that exclude a trademark from protection.
- Consider the arguments of the applicant and, if necessary, explain in detail the reasons for the rejection and draft the final decisions.
- Prepare the substantive decisions related to the opposition procedure and participate in coordination meetings.
- Conduct legal clarifications in various areas of Swiss law.
- Provide written and telephone information in various languages regarding copyright as well as counterfeiting and piracy.
- Participate in other activities of the Division of Law & International Affairs, including advising federal authorities and preparing legislation in the field of intellectual property.
- Deepen a current legal issue related to intellectual property law and present it in the context of an internal continuing education event.

- Completed law studies in Switzerland (lic. iur., MLaw).
- Native language Italian, German, or French and good knowledge of German, French, and English.
- Strong interest in intellectual property law.
- Quick learning ability, good analytical skills, and interdisciplinary thinking. Precise and solution-oriented working style.
