INNOMEDICA IS A YOUNG NANOTECH COMPANY with around 50 employees, a number of promising drugs in preclinical and clinical development and its own clean room production. The pipeline is based on a liposomal delivery system and includes in particular applications in the fields of neurology (new approach to treat Parkinson's disease) and oncology (chemotherapy).
In order to conduct further clinical trials with our Clinical Research team based in Bern, we are looking for a
In the Clinical Research department, the main objective is the clinical development of InnoMedica's products in neurology and oncology with the aim of applying innovative drugs in clinical trials to patients and ultimately bringing them to market.
Your responsibilities include:
- Support in the planning of clinical trials and preparation of trial documents as well as documents for the cantonal ethics committee, Swissmedic, and other authorities
- Supervision of clinical trials through close interaction with the clinical trial sites
- Conceptualization and writing of monitoring plans
- Preparation, conduct, and follow-up of regular monitoring visits to trial sites to ensure data integrity through source data review
- Conduct of training activities at the trial sites
- Establishment of clinical trial tools for efficient coordination and communication
- Authoring and/or coordinating scientific publications
- Scientific congress participation and presentation
As prerequisites for this exciting position, we expect a PhD in biochemistry, (bio)medicine, pharmacy or a similar field. Expertise in neuroscience or a therapeutic area is considered an advantage. You have gained initial experience with scientific communication and with research projects in either an academic or pharmaceutical setting. Among your strengths are excellent interpersonal skills and a precise working style. Demonstrating both initiative and independence, you also bring strong team spirit and thrive in the dynamic environment of an innovative start-up. Fluency in both English and German is required.
