Debt Collection Specialist / Maintenance Assistance 40 – 70 Percent
The Regional Maintenance Office of the City of Sursee supports 17 municipalities in the area of maintenance assistance and is also responsible for international maintenance debt collection for the entire canton of Lucerne. - Attractive entry with a workload of 40 to 70% from January to June 2027 as part of a temporary replacement and subsequent permanent employment with 40 to 50% from 1 July 2027
Your tasks include
- Checking entitlement to maintenance advance payments, indexation calculations, etc.
- Independent processing of address verifications
- Case intake and closures
- Advice on various issues in maintenance assistance
- Enforcement of debt collection measures
- Contact and correspondence with entitled and obligated persons, municipalities, courts, authorities, employers, etc.
Ideally, you bring the following
- Certificate as a maintenance specialist or several years of experience in debt collection
- Good knowledge of relevant legal areas (debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, debt collection, international debt collection, family law)
- Knowledge of the case management system Klib
- Quick comprehension and ability to think in a networked way
- Independent and resilient personality
