About the job
We offer a varied training position in a modern hotel operation. We have a very lively à la carte restaurant. Events of all kinds take place with us, including business meetings, seminars, family celebrations, weddings, and also catering events.
Training 3 years with Federal Certificate of Competence
As a restaurant specialist, you ensure that the guest feels well cared for. You know all the important things about food and drinks, understand the secrets of wines, and can mix various cocktails. Being a host/hostess brings you joy and pleasure. With empathy, good manners, and a neat, clean appearance, you fulfil customer wishes courteously and reliably. In addition, you are resilient, flexible, and a team player. You are willing to work on weekends and evenings.
Over three years, you will learn all tasks and processes in your area, enabling you to independently acquire the necessary knowledge for your dream profession. A modern workplace, a dynamic team, and a lived hospitality culture, among many other aspects, will contribute to providing the appropriate framework for your enjoyment of the service profession. You will attend vocational school in Burgdorf one day per week!
