About the job
As part of this project, an existing, ageing air/water heat pump was professionally replaced in a single-family house in the Wädenswil region.
Initial Situation
The existing heat pump had reached the end of its service life. The aim of the project was to provide a reliable, more efficient, and future-proof heating solution for heating and hot water – without major structural interventions to the building.
Implementation
A modern air/water heat pump from Stiebel Eltron with a capacity of 10 kW was installed. Additionally, a HS-BM 820 hygiene storage tank was used, enabling hygienic hot water preparation and optimal system integration.
The new system was integrated into the existing plant room.
Advantages of the new solution:
• Significantly higher energy efficiency compared to the old system
• Reliable heating and hot water supply
• Optimal combination of heat pump and hygiene storage tank
• Future-proof heating solution for existing buildings
Conclusion
With the replacement of the existing heat pump, the homeowner benefits from a modern, efficient, and more sustainable heating solution. This project demonstrates how existing heat pump systems can be sensibly renewed with contemporary technology.
