As our current position holder is retiring, we are looking for a:
Strategic Buyer (80-100%)
responsible for Purchasing & Supply Chain Management
You will manage the entire supply chain – from strategic purchasing through production planning to supplier development. You act independently and contribute significantly to the company's success with your technical understanding, negotiation skills, and structured working style.
Your Tasks
- Strategic procurement of materials for our KEMARO products – considering availability, liquidity, inventory levels, and lead times
- Selection, establishment, and further development of international suppliers (including risk assessment and second-source strategies)
- Contract design and price negotiations to secure optimal conditions
- Management of internal production via production orders
- Coordination and implementation of changes in collaboration with engineering, production, and other affected departments
- Handling quality issues and coordinating solution processes with suppliers
- Analysis and implementation of cost optimizations along the entire supply chain
Your Profile
- Completed technical or commercial education with business management further training
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, contract management, and supplier management
- Very good technical understanding and proficient use of ERP systems
- Analytical, structured working style and high organizational skills
- Fluent German and English skills
- Team player with assertiveness, initiative, and solution-oriented thinking
- Experience with international supply chains and make-or-buy decisions
