Your Tasks
- Preparation and follow-up of anaesthesia workstations as well as provision of the required materials and medications
- Assistance with the administration of general and regional anaesthesia (in an outpatient setting)
- Support of the anaesthesia team in diagnostic and therapeutic measures
- Care and monitoring of patients before, during and after anaesthesiological measures within the scope of assigned tasks
- Conducting monitoring (e.g. blood pressure, pulse oximetry, ECG) after appropriate qualification
- Preparation and assistance with sedations
- Conducting sedations within the framework of legal requirements, existing qualifications and internal standards (e.g. after successful completion of a sedation course)
- Documentation of vital parameters and anaesthesia-relevant measures
- Operation and functional checks of medical-technical devices
- Compliance with and implementation of hygiene, quality and safety standards
- Support in emergency measures and resuscitations
- Accompanying and caring for patients in the recovery room after appropriate task delegation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with the medical service, the operating team and other specialist departments
- Participation in the organisation and coordination of workflows in the anaesthesia department
Your Profile
- Completed training as a Medical Assistant (MFA)
- Ideally professional experience in anaesthesia, endoscopy, operating theatre or monitoring area
- Qualification as sedation assistant desirable or willingness to acquire it
- Confident handling of medical-technical devices
- High sense of responsibility and strong patient orientation
- Teamwork skills, reliability and resilience
- Independent and structured way of working
