The EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. The organisation effectively combines a local approach with an overall vision, guaranteeing the population a comprehensive and local hospital service, regardless of where the services are required.

Thanks to the commitment and expertise of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relations, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.

To complete our urology service team at the Lugano Regional Hospital, we are looking for a:

Assistant Urology Doctor (100%)

The urology service at the Lugano Regional Hospital is a rapidly expanding service with an ambitious growth plan at the cantonal and national level.

Essential requirements:

• Degree/diploma in medicine and surgery with registration to MedReg before starting work.

For doctors with foreign qualifications: recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and registration to MedReg before starting work are mandatory;

• Proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with registration to MedReg before starting work, knowledge of English is desirable;
• Proficiency with IT tools;
• Constructive and proactive attitude;
• Strong availability and inclination for teamwork;
• Interest in clinical/translational research in the urological field;
• Training interest in urology (surgical and outpatient)
