About the job
You are a Senior Bid Manager with a structured, reliable and quality-oriented way of working. You manage complex tender processes in the ICT/service environment and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
You take overall responsibility for the tender phase, from analysing the tender to the final approval and submission of the offer. In doing so, you act as the central contact person and coordinate all internal and external parties involved.
- Analysis of tenders regarding customer requirements, project scope and pricing model
- Management and coordination of the internal bid team consisting of sales, legal, consultants, architects and engineers
- Coordination of external stakeholders such as customers, partners and suppliers
- Ensuring quality gates as well as compliance with quality, compliance and approval requirements throughout the entire tender process
- Preparation and coordination of tender documents in close cooperation with sales and account management
- Organisation and execution of risk analyses, tender reviews and approval processes
- Definition of the tender strategy as well as the storyline, content and structure of the tender presentation
- Organisation and moderation of preparation meetings for customer presentations and tender defences
- Conducting the final quality check of the offer regarding content, consistency, structure, completeness and formatting
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree, ideally at master’s level
- Certification as APMP Certified (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) is an advantage
- Several years of experience in the ICT environment as well as strong skills in understanding complex solutions and coordinating various stakeholders
- Experience in handling complex projects as well as knowledge in risk, quality and commercial management
- Ability to take overall coordination throughout the entire tender process and act as a central hub
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, coordinate, support and advise virtual bid teams
- Very good communication, presentation and moderation skills
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
