About the job
Who we are
Auxivo AG is an innovative ETH spin-off from Zurich. We develop wearable exoskeletons that relieve physically working people and are used worldwide in various industries. Our headquarters are located in Schwerzenbach near Zurich. In Karlsruhe, we operate our German site with office and workshop.
For our headquarters, we are looking for a numerically inclined and technically skilled individual to strengthen our finance team. In this versatile role, you will work in the areas of financial accounting, controlling, and reporting, while actively shaping the further development of our financial processes and our ERP system Odoo. You will work closely with our Finance & Controlling manager as well as the management and take early responsibility for your own topics.
This position is particularly suitable for career starters and young professionals who want to develop further in the finance sector and take on responsibility quickly. Depending on workload, you will also support general administrative tasks at our headquarters with around 20–40% of your workload.
Your tasks
- Financial accounting: You support or take over tasks in accounts receivable and accounts payable, bookings, reconciliations, accruals, and payment transactions.
- Monthly and annual closing: You assist with monthly and annual closings as well as the preparation of audits and tax documents.
- Controlling & reporting: You support management reporting, analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and the further development of our financial key figures.
- ERP & digitalisation: You take an active role as a finance key user of our ERP system Odoo and help continuously develop financial processes, reporting, and automations.
- Finance administration: You take care of invoices, expenses, documentation, data quality, and other administrative financial processes.
- General administration (approx. 20–40%): Besides your finance tasks, you support our team with general administrative and organisational tasks at the headquarters, for example in sales administration and other office matters.
Your profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, finance & accounting, controlling, or comparable with good to very good results – alternatively a solid commercial apprenticeship with corresponding further education in finance.
- Initial professional experience: Ideally 1-2 years in accounting, controlling, fiduciary, or auditing.
- Swiss accounting: Ideally knowledge of Swiss accounting and corporate environment or practical experience with it.
- Analytical skills: Very good numerical understanding as well as a structured and careful working style.
- IT, data & AI affinity: High interest in IT and ERP systems, data analysis, reporting, automation, and the productive use of AI.
- Excel & ERP: Very good Excel skills; experience with Odoo or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Initiative: You work independently, take responsibility, and want to actively develop processes further.
- Languages: Very good German and English skills.
What we offer
- Steep learning curve & development: Take early responsibility and develop professionally in finance, controlling, and ERP.
- Innovative & international environment: Work in a growing ETH spin-off with innovative products and international customers and partners.
- Modern working methods: Work with modern digital tools and develop ERP, reporting, and automation solutions together with us.
- Short decision-making paths: Benefit from flat hierarchies and direct exchange.
- Proximity to management: Work directly with our finance manager and management and gain insight into entrepreneurial decisions.
- Meaningful activity: Help to relieve physically working people, reduce work injuries, and make the working world safer.
