Job Description
We have an interesting position to fill in our R&D department. For the Industrial Connectors division, we are looking for an independent, experienced individual who actively contributes to ensuring the quality standard of our products by selecting and defining the appropriate tests.
Your main tasks are:
- Preparation, processing and evaluation of test protocols, CVRs and test reports
- Planning and initiation of tests (type tests as well as development-accompanying tests)
- Maintaining test-relevant documents in the system
- Development and maintenance of the basis for the release of technical data
- Collaboration in the creation and maintenance of assembly instructions and technical documentation
- Technical discussions with customers and product managers
- Identification of obstacles and problem areas and development of corresponding solutions.
In addition, you provide technical support for our locations worldwide.
Qualifications
This is your profile:
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering
- Several years of experience in testing (type testing) and standardisation (IEC, UL)
- Business management training is an advantage
- Good communicator, fluent in German and English
- Experience with numerical simulation environments is an advantage
- Team player with confident manner and assertiveness
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
