Head of Safety & Environment 100% (all genders)

Job Description

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the S&E team (3 employees)
• Development and maintenance of safety concepts
• Investigation of accidents, near misses, and risk events
• Planning, organisation, and further development of emergency management
• Conducting site inspections and safety audits
• Organisation and implementation of training and awareness measures
• Initiation and follow-up of corrective and preventive measures
• Contact person for authorities and external bodies (e.g. KIGA, SUVA etc.)
• Responsibility for hazardous substances and waste management
• Development and support in the implementation of environmental objectives
• Collection, evaluation, and reporting of key figures

Profile

• Completed education in a scientific or technical field with corresponding further training in occupational safety and environment

Professional Requirements

• Several years of professional and leadership experience, ideally in a production company
• Analytical and systematic thinking
• Independent and structured working style
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• German spoken and written, very good English skills, and ideally French
