Are you motivated by the challenging legal assessment and independent management of complex personal injury cases? Would you like to use your expertise in liability and insurance law to develop fair and sustainable solutions together with various stakeholders?

In this role, you will strengthen the Claims business area at Zurich Switzerland in the Motor Vehicle Claims department and be part of the Personal Injury team. You are responsible for the comprehensive handling of complex personal injury cases with a focus on motor vehicle liability and assess challenging questions regarding coverage, liability, and claim amount. You will conduct negotiations with insured persons, injured parties, legal representatives, and other insurers and coordinate your cases with the relevant internal and external partners.

What to expect

• You manage complex personal injury cases comprehensively and assess facts regarding coverage, liability, and claim amount
• You review and evaluate claims and develop sustainable solutions based on your legal and professional assessment
• You conduct demanding negotiations with insured persons, injured parties, legal representatives, and insurance companies
• You coordinate your cases with social and private insurers as well as other internal and external specialist departments
• You assess recourse possibilities and ensure their consistent handling and enforcement

What distinguishes you

• You hold a lawyer’s licence or a law degree from a Swiss university.
• You have solid knowledge of liability and insurance law as well as relevant experience in handling personal injury cases.
• You analyse complex matters in a structured manner and possess a pronounced legal judgement.
• You communicate convincingly and appreciatively and conduct solution-oriented negotiations even in demanding situations.
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
