- You work independently, proactively, and solution-oriented on complex claims cases (disability and death)
- You use your in-depth legal, medical, and economic skills to review claims
- Challenging written and oral communication with insured persons, doctors, lawyers, authorities, and other parties is something you enjoy
- You easily coordinate with external parties such as the federal disability insurance, accident insurances, health insurers, etc.
- Collaboration with internal trusted doctors, case managers, director inspectors, and the legal department is part of your job, as well as commissioning external expert offices
- Providing input for continuous process improvement is a matter of course for you
- ... and occasionally some travel is also part of this position
Your Skills and Talents
Your Skills and Talents
- You have completed commercial or equivalent training or alternatively training in the medical field, as well as several years of professional experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the personal injury area
- You are an open, courageous, interested, and decisive personality who enjoys communication and has a confident negotiation style
- Your confident German and French are mandatory (spoken and written), and ideally your Italian and English skills (an advantage) make you valuable to us
- You are proficient with MS Office applications and have basic accounting knowledge for evaluating annual financial statements (and determining income losses)
