During the Exchange of Experts 2022 at EPFL Lausanne, new rail pad solutions were presented.
Dr. Christian Czolbe gave a presentation together with PROSE employee Yves Kohler about optimized soft rail pads.
The novel elastic intermediate layer between rail and concrete sleeper, which protects the ballast and reduces noise, is a development of PROSE and BATEGU.
