The Pictet Investment Office (PIO) is a specialized investment team within Pictet Wealth Management, dedicated to serving a select group of large families and principals. PIO manages substantial wealth portfolios through a distinctive investment approach that combines public and private markets, with a strong emphasis on long-term equity ownership, concentrated conviction and unconstrained capital allocation.
We are seeking to recruit an Intern (Investment Analytics & AI Applications). Your mission will be to support the Pictet Investment Office in leveraging data science, quantitative analytics and artificial intelligence to enhance investment research, portfolio construction, risk management and implementation across public and private markets.
Your role
• Develop AI applications to support investment research and decision-making.
• Build quantitative tools and analytics for portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk management and implementation.
• Leverage data and automation to enhance investment research workflows.
• Partner with investment teams across asset classes to improve investment processes through technology and data.
Your profile
• Master's student in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
• Strong interest in investing, financial markets and technology.
• Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Familiarity with data analysis and Generative AI tools.
• Interest in applying AI and quantitative techniques to real-world investment and portfolio management challenges.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with investment professionals across disciplines.
• Proficient in standard productivity tools (MS Office).
• Excellent command of English; French is an advantage.
