You bring a strong technical foundation, can quickly familiarise yourself with demanding customer applications and new technology fields, and want to increasingly combine this understanding with market and business perspectives. In this role, you will specifically build your business development competence.

This is what gets you up in the morning:

• Identifying, evaluating and prioritising new applications, technologies and business opportunities
• Analysing demanding customer applications, technical challenges and unresolved customer needs
• Familiarising yourself with new technologies and assessing their potential for Trafag and our customers
• Analysing markets and competitive environments as well as validating market potentials
• Exchanging with customers, partners, industry experts and research institutions
• Using modern AI tools for market and technology monitoring, trend analysis and knowledge acquisition

What we expect from you:

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical contexts
• Enjoyment in independently familiarising yourself with new technologies, applications and industries
• High willingness to learn, curiosity and initiative
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a structured and analytical working style
• Very good German and English skills
