The Salvation Army Switzerland Foundation, as a leading social non-profit organisation and church, offers people in challenging life situations straightforward support. In the Finance Social Work organisational unit, we act as an important partner in the social work business areas.Your tasks
- Managing creditors and debtors
- Depending on suitability, managing the general ledger
- Supporting the responsible accountants and the mandate management
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assisting with statistics
- Assisting with internal mail distribution
- General handling of correspondence and administration within your own area
Your profile
- Commercial basic training, preferably with further training as an accounting clerk
- Several years of professional experience as a clerk
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, French skills advantageous
- You are digitally savvy with solid software knowledge, especially in Excel
- Familiarity with the ERP system Business Central is an advantage
- Team player, communicative and resilient
- You combine both: accuracy and efficiency
- Even under pressure, you keep the goal in sight and meet deadlines
- Service-oriented attitude for professional interaction with various stakeholders
- Identification with the mission statement and Christian values of the Salvation Army
