Customer Service Employee in Account Management (m/f)

Main tasks
- You are jointly responsible for the professional onboarding process of our new customers and ensure a smooth, customer-oriented introduction to Ärztekasse.
- You competently support and advise our customers via all contact channels (by phone, virtually and in person) and ensure high service quality and sustainable customer satisfaction.
- You take responsibility in the customer lifecycle – from onboarding new customers through ongoing support to long-term customer retention.
- You actively maintain existing customer relationships, recognise customer needs early and contribute with your proactive actions to a long-term and trusting collaboration.
- You coordinate and maintain cooperation with internal departments such as sales and billing service, as well as external partners, ensuring efficient information flow and harmonised processes.
- You identify optimisation potentials in existing processes, contribute your own ideas and actively participate in the continuous development of our processes and services.
- You take on diverse administrative and organisational tasks and support the team with an independent, structured and reliable working style.
- You make an active contribution to achieving our quality and service goals and help provide our customers with a first-class customer experience.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in customer consulting or customer service – ideally in healthcare or a service-oriented environment.
- Strong customer and service orientation as well as enjoyment in developing individual solutions and creating sustainable added value for our customers.
- Good understanding of statistics and KPIs. You interpret key figures correctly and use them as a basis for well-founded decisions and professional customer advice.
- Independent, structured and responsible working style with a high quality standard.
- Strong communication skills, empathy and confidence – even in demanding conversation situations.
- Analytical thinking as well as a solution-oriented and networked approach.
- Enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration and a strong team spirit.
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications as well as a high understanding of digitising processes.
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; good French skills are a plus.
