The Avosano Group employs a total of 650 staff across three locations with its two subsidiaries Avosano AG (pharmaceutical wholesale) and Avosano Industrie Service AG (pharma prewholesale).

At our locations in Niederbipp, Romanshorn or Puidoux, we are looking for a

Head of Logistics (m/f/d) 100%

• You are responsible for the further development of our logistics at the Niederbipp, Romanshorn and Puidoux sites and drive the transformation towards a modern, efficient and future-oriented organisation.

• You lead and develop the site managers and, together with them, ensure a stable, efficient and high-quality operation across all logistics processes.

• You manage logistics based on clear performance, quality and cost indicators and derive targeted improvement measures from them.

• You identify potentials for automation and digitalisation and implement meaningful improvements economically.

• You further develop organisation, responsibilities and decision-making paths so that decisions are made where value creation takes place.

• You promote a culture of personal responsibility, reliability, openness to mistakes and continuous improvement.

• You ensure compliance with relevant requirements in the areas of safety, quality and compliance and further develop our resilience.

• You work closely with management and important internal as well as external stakeholders and provide well-founded decision-making bases.

• You have a higher education in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.

• You have several years of leadership experience in an operational logistics or supply chain function, ideally across multiple sites, and have already led managers and larger operational units.

• You have solid experience in the further development of complex logistics processes, ideally according to the SCOR reference model or a comparable process architecture, and think consistently beyond functional and site boundaries.

• You bring experience in transformation, reorganisation and automation projects and know how to implement changes effectively.

• You have in-depth knowledge of lean management and continuous improvement and approach problems in a structured and sustainable manner.

• You are confident in ERP, WMS and other logistics-related systems and use data and key figures as a basis for decisions.

• You convince through strategic-analytical thinking, implementation strength, entrepreneurial action, hands-on mentality and communication skills at all hierarchical levels.

• You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills; French skills are a clear advantage.
