As soon as possible or to be agreed – duration 6 months – flexibility on start dates.To support its development, Equans Switzerland based in the Geneva region, offers an internship for a 5th year engineering student within our Security & Automation department.
Internship title:
Integration of AI within various tasks to successfully carry out a Building Management System project.

Your mission
Initially, you will work with our teams to understand the tasks of writing functional analyses, designing and programming PLCs and BMS supervisors, as well as the specific techniques used during commissioning.
Following this discovery phase, you will be asked to implement various AI tools to optimise the different tasks of our collaborators.
This internship will allow you to explore cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the intelligent digitalisation of our infrastructures.
You will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with PLCs from the Beckhoff, Schneider, SAIA ranges, as well as supervisors such as Ignition, PC-Vue, Iconics....
Your profile
Student in the final year of engineering school or higher education at master’s level, specialising in computer science, industrial computing or automation, you are looking for a six-month end-of-studies internship.
You have a good foundation in programming and a particular interest in artificial intelligence and its practical applications in technical fields. You wish to discover or deepen your knowledge in PLC programming, supervision and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Knowledge in building automation or technical facility management (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting and blinds) is an asset but not essential: our teams will support you in discovering these areas.
Meticulous and passionate about technology, you enjoy teamwork and want to invest yourself within a growing company.
