Digital Business Developer Apprentice CFC

Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and ranks among the best hospital institutions worldwide according to the Newsweek 2025 ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.
Within the management of the CHUV Training Center and the Data Unit of the Hospital Logistics Department, you will support activities by mapping processes, analyzing data (supply, distribution, storage), visualizing indicators useful to field teams, and supporting the digital transformation of practices.
Mission
- You support the institution's digital development, transformation, and innovation.
- You understand and model business processes (as-is / to-be) to prepare processes and products for the future.
- You collect, structure, and clean data (stocks, orders, flows); you analyze and present results (dashboards, diagrams).
- You support projects: scoping, milestones, communication between specialists, decision-makers, and internal clients; workshop facilitation.
- You write documentation (processes, instructions, materials) and participate in testing, implementation, and feedback.
- You monitor the impact of solutions (simplicity, efficiency, adoption) and propose continuous improvements.
Profile
- You have completed your compulsory schooling (recommended upper secondary level) with good to very good grades in mathematics and French.
- You are interested in digitizing activities and enjoy working with IT tools.
- You have strong analytical skills; you work independently and in a structured way (organization, priorities).
- You communicate easily, know how to listen to the needs of the Services, and collaborate in a team.
- You demonstrate creativity and an innovative spirit; you are comfortable explaining your ideas to diverse audiences.
- Assets (optional): curiosity for data visualization, processes (BPM), project management.
