Welding Specialist Engineer / Responsible Welding Supervisor (m/f/d)

About the job

• Technical management and supervision of all welding-related activities at the site
• Consultation and support for engineering and production in welding-related matters
• Creation of welding specifications and review of drawings for compliance with standards
• Ensuring the standard-compliant manufacture of welded constructions internally and at subcontractors
• Qualification and supervision of welding personnel as well as conducting welding tests and procedure qualifications
• Ensuring and maintaining the required welding certifications
• Preparation and support of internal and external audits
• Handling welding-related deviations and continuous improvement of welding technology
• Technical support for projects, approvals, and the creation of manufacturing documents

• Completed HF/FH degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or similar with further training as a welding specialist engineer
• Very good knowledge of ISO 3834 and DIN 2303 Q3
• Experience with 3D CAD is an advantage
• Communicative personality with a strong quality awareness
• High sense of responsibility and structured working method
• Willingness to travel 10-20%
• Very good German and English skills
