The St. Gallen Cantonal Police ensures peace, security, and order in the canton of St. Gallen around the clock. It investigates crimes and monitors compliance with applicable laws.
The main department of Technology and Logistics is responsible for project management as well as operations in the areas of ICT, Technical Services, Emergency Call and Operations Control Center, Services & Logistics, and the garage of the St. Gallen Cantonal Police. Within this main department, the Services & Logistics division is responsible, among other things, for the entire building access management, for managing the central reception of the St. Gallen Cantonal Police, as well as the secretariat. In the construction sector, infrastructure projects such as renovations and new buildings as well as furniture requests are processed and planned and executed in cooperation with the Cantonal Building Office.
