Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting role, you are responsible for the hardware engineering of telecommunications and remote control infrastructures at the Aarau site and the Swissgrid remote stations. Your tasks include, among others:
- Responsibility for the holistic planning of new constructions and conversions in telecommunications and remote control infrastructures
- Planning and designing installations in racks, cabling, system connections, and the connections between racks and building sections
- Creating documentation in the form of concepts, system and site overviews, electrical schematics, and control cabinet drawings according to internal guidelines using the designated tools
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders in network construction projects
- Conducting acceptance tests of installations together with the supplier and accompanying the implementation of the systems
- Responsibility for the efficient application and further development of the tools
- Procurement of new suitable systems within the area of responsibility
- Acting as an expert in technical matters
This is how you make a difference
For this role, we are looking for a determined personality with good analytical skills and a structured and goal-oriented working style. Furthermore, you bring the following:
- Training as an electrical draftsman, electrical planner, electronics technician, or similar
- Further education as an electrical engineer FH or electrical technician TS or equivalent training
- Experience in planning electrical or telecom infrastructures
- Knowledge of the tools Engineering Base and/or FNT Command is an advantage
- Very good German skills, French is an advantage
