Head of Recycling Centre (m/f/d) 100%

• Overall responsibility for the operation of the recycling centre with 5 employees
• Ensuring the correct acceptance, storage, and processing of private, commercial, and special waste in compliance with safety regulations as well as legal and internal requirements
• Leadership, promotion, and further development of employees as well as planning efficient personnel deployment
• Administrative and organisational tasks including billing for the services of the recycling centre
• Continuous development and optimisation of operational processes as well as existing and new recycling and disposal solutions
• Active participation in day-to-day operations
• Planning and monitoring of maintenance and servicing work
• Coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as authorities

• Completed training as a recycler or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the recycling or disposal sector as well as leadership experience
• Entrepreneurial thinking, organisational talent, and a responsible and customer-oriented personality
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style as well as enthusiasm for the development of employees and processes
• Motivation for active participation in the recycling operation and willingness to work regular Saturdays
• Experience with sorting excavators and pneumatic loaders as well as a valid forklift licence (at least R1)
• Very good German and MS Office skills
