Our client in the Olten - Solothurn region is a successful Swiss industrial company with a long-standing tradition and high manufacturing expertise. The company produces and distributes technical products for demanding customers at home and abroad.

To strengthen the management team, we are looking for a responsible and assertive personality with proven experience in warehouse and logistics management.

Job Description

• Overall responsibility for warehouse, transport and packaging logistics
• Leadership, promotion and further development of a team of 19 employees
• Ensuring high inventory transparency and responsibility for inventories
• Organisation and further development of internal and external warehouse locations
• Management and support of external logistics service providers
• Responsibility for the organisation and management of the entire goods warehouse
• Ensuring efficient inbound and outbound processes using modern ERP systems
• Analysis, optimisation and further development of logistical processes and interfaces
• Active participation in digitalisation projects and the integration of external warehouse processes
• Close cooperation with procurement, production, sales, transport scheduling, quality assurance and IT
• Active support of the team in operational day-to-day business as needed

We expect

• Completed training in logistics as well as several years of professional and leadership experience in warehouse logistics
• Further training as a logistics specialist, logistics manager, technician HF business processes or comparable qualification is an advantage
• Experience in a manufacturing industrial or trading company
• Sound knowledge of warehouse, material flow and distribution processes
• Experience in working with external warehouse locations and logistics service providers
• Strong leadership qualities and a high sense of responsibility
• Solution-oriented, structured and entrepreneurial mindset
• Enjoyment in questioning and sustainably improving processes
• Solid user knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
• Communicative personality with assertiveness and team spirit
