The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory with a total of 1,000 beds. To complete our team in the Hospitality Services of the Regional Hospital of Lugano, we are looking for a qualified cook in dietetics on a fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Qualified Cook in Dietetics (80% - 100%)
Profile:
The ideal candidate has professional experience as a cook in medium/large private or public organisations. They feel comfortable in a multicultural environment and know how to manage interpersonal relationships with all stakeholders. They are willing, flexible to change, enthusiastic about bringing new ideas, and able to ensure quality while respecting times and procedures.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal Certificate of Competence as a Qualified Cook;
- Federal Professional Certificate as a Cook in Dietetics or equivalent;
- Solid experience in the catering sector;
- Strong knowledge of equipment, food techniques, and HACCP standards;
- Ability to plan work effectively and efficiently;
- Autonomy, flexibility, confidentiality;
- Teamwork orientation;
- Fluency in Italian (spoken and written) and a second national language (Fr/De);
- Good IT skills.
