Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various fields. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency centre.For our Women’s Clinic, we are looking for a Chief Physician Secretary Women’s Clinic 100% starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Organisation of the chief physician’s consultation hours including assistance with examinations, performing blood draws and small laboratory tasks
- Writing operation reports and medical correspondence from dictation using a speech recognition system
- Planning and coordination of outpatient and inpatient procedures considering available operating theatre capacities, resources and personnel conditions
- Administrative tasks and management of the electronic patient record
Your Profile
- Completed training as a medical practice assistant or further training as a consultation assistant, as well as further training as a chief physician secretary is an advantage
- Experience in gynaecology/obstetrics and in a chief physician’s secretariat is an advantage
- Independent, structured and efficient working style as well as confident prioritisation
- Good knowledge of English
