As a DevOps Engineer, you actively shape our internal network together with your team colleagues. Your tasks
- Active participation in the definition, implementation and management of various products in the area of L2/L3 technologies, WLAN, Network Access Control and DNS infrastructure
- Conceptualising, documenting and implementing contemporary, secure solutions in the area of activity
- Technical consulting and support of internal and external customers
- Taking over operational responsibility for systems of the IT security platforms
- Engineering and accompanying maintenance windows
- Covering four to five weeks of on-call duty per year
Your profile
- Completed training in the field of computer science (FH level) or equivalent professional experience
- Several years of practical experience in managing enterprise solutions, preferably with certifications, from manufacturers such as Extreme Networks, HPE Aruba, Cisco
- Knowledge in conceptualising, developing, integrating and automating network and security solutions
- Good knowledge of network protocols, security technologies and Linux operating systems (preferably RHEL)
- Basic experience in automation across different platforms, preferably Python
- Very good German language skills (at least C1)
