You are a trained bicycle mechanic and want to combine your expertise with social commitment in the future? Or are you already a work pedagogue and looking for a workshop where you can make a real impact? Then you are exactly right with us! At WerkBahnhof, you combine professional bicycle mechanics with work integration – and develop both professionally and personally.

What awaits you

• In our bicycle workshop, you take on the technical management and actively contribute your ideas.
• With heart, humor, and know-how, you accompany our participants while working in our workshop in the areas of bicycles, industry, and recycling.
• You keep the workshop day running: from work preparation to material procurement to occupational safety and the careful maintenance of our infrastructure.
• You ensure that bicycles get a second life: you check the quality, carry out repairs, and make bikes ready for sale and our customers.
• You record the development of our participants and document their progress comprehensibly.
• Together with our job coaches, you work interdisciplinarily – because together we achieve more!

What you bring

• A completed training as a bicycle mechanic with professional experience.
• Interest in work integration and further development towards becoming a work pedagogue – or already completed further training in work pedagogy or experience in work integration.
• Joy in working with people and enthusiasm to share your knowledge.
• An open, appreciative, and solution-oriented attitude – you see opportunities where others see problems.
• A positive mindset and a reflective view of the world.

How you can develop with us

• If you (still) do not have work pedagogical training, we will accompany you step by step into this role after careful induction.
• You can complete the further training to become a work pedagogue alongside your job. The financing of the training is your responsibility, but we support you professionally and in everyday work on your development path.
