To strengthen our Group IT team, we are looking for a communicative Application Manager SAP SD (m/f/d). Your professional focus is on the support, further development and optimisation of our SAP sales processes. At the same time, you are open to getting to know, supporting and jointly developing other sales-related third-party applications in the construction sector.

Your workplace is our headquarters in the Ambassador House in Opfikon, with the possibility to also work partially from home.

Tasks:

• In this role, you take responsibility for the support, further development and lifecycle management of applications in the sales area, with a clear focus on SAP SD.
• You analyse requirements from the operational business units, assess them professionally and technically, and translate them into viable solution concepts.
• In addition, you create specifications, coordinate tests, accompany releases and ensure a stable application landscape together with internal and external partners.
• You support the optimisation and harmonisation of sales processes in the SAP environment, especially in the areas of customer orders, invoicing, interfaces and adjacent processes.
• As a central interface, you act between business key users, operational business units, Group IT specialist departments and external suppliers, work closely with 1st-level support and external implementation partners, and coordinate the sustainable resolution of incidents, changes and minor further developments.
• You actively contribute your SAP SD expertise but are also willing to familiarise yourself with other third-party applications in construction and take on their professional and technical support.
• You contribute to application governance and help to develop our system landscape in a value-adding, stable and future-proof manner.

Requirements:

• You have completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration with an IT focus or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in application management, consulting or in supporting SAP SD processes.
• You have sound knowledge of SAP SD, ideally including customising understanding, process analysis, test coordination and interfaces to adjacent SAP modules.
• You understand sales processes holistically, capture requirements from the business in a structured way and translate them into suitable IT solutions.
• You enjoy familiarising yourself with other third-party applications alongside SAP SD, especially applications supporting business processes in construction.
• You work analytically, solution-oriented and structured and keep an overview even with several parallel topics.
• You communicate confidently with business stakeholders, IT colleagues and external partners and see yourself as a connecting interface between the business department and IT.
• You act customer-oriented, take responsibility and have a good sense for stable, pragmatic and sustainable solutions.
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
