We welcome you to three exceptional venues located within the former Bellevue Hotel in Glion, enjoying a spectacular view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. This 19th-century building, overlooking Montreux and the Vaud Riviera, has been at the heart of the prestigious Glion Hotel Management School since 1962. This unique setting houses the Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant and its lounge bar, as well as a contemporary bistro. The dining room of the gastronomic restaurant and the magnificent bar, listed as a historic heritage site, skilfully combines modernity, elegance, and Belle Époque spirit. The bistro area, meanwhile, has a decidedly contemporary tone and adjoins the gastronomic restaurant.
Job Description
We are looking for a KITCHEN COMMIS OR DEMI-CHEF DE PARTIE (permanent contract) starting 1st September 2026
Under the direction of the Head Chef you will:
- Ensure the consistency between the dishes you prepare and the technical sheets
- Independently and efficiently carry out, coordinate and manage all operations in your section necessary for the mise en place, preparation and plating of dishes in accordance with the establishment’s technical and aesthetic standards.
- Assist in assessing supply needs and managing stocks and orders
- Comply with HACCP and safety standards
Qualifications
- Ideally trained in hospitality such as BEP/CAP, BAC PRO, or BTS, you have significant experience in a similar position and Michelin-starred establishment
- You are motivated, have a keen sense of organisation and teamwork.
- Besides technical skills, your dynamism and creativity will make the difference to become a driving force in our development.
