The Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy Unit, attached to the Surgery Department (DC), provides cross-functional activities in intermediate care and care units of the Surgery (DC) and Cardiovascular (DCV) departments, as well as in the intensive care units and emergency departments of the Interdisciplinary Centres Department (DCI).
The team cares for adult outpatients and inpatients, notably in the fields of cardiac, vascular, thoracic, ENT, urology, visceral, septic surgery, as well as cardiology.
In intensive care and emergency, physiotherapists intervene with patients from all disciplines combined.
Daytime shifts on weekends and public holidays, as well as on-call duty from 17:15 to 08:00 (7/7) for the management of adult respiratory emergencies across the hospital campus, are part of the team’s organisation.
