Our client, GROB AG in Nebikon, has been a leading Swiss industrial company since 1947 in the development and manufacture of highly precise gearing parts and mechanical components. Around 55 employees, a high level of manufacturing depth, a modern machine park, and continuous investments in automation and digitalisation form the basis for sustainable business success.

As a member of the executive board, you are responsible for the strategic and operational further development of production. Your area of responsibility includes production, production planning (AVOR), quality management, and logistics with a total of around 45 employees.

Main tasks:

• Overall responsibility for the areas of production, AVOR, quality management, and logistics
• Leadership and further development of directly subordinate managers
• Ensuring quality, productivity, cost-effectiveness, and delivery reliability
• Further development of production strategy and capacity planning
• Expansion of automation, digitalisation, and unmanned production concepts
• Further development and sustainable anchoring of a lean management and continuous improvement process (CIP) culture
• Responsibility for production budgets and investment projects
• Evaluation and successful introduction of new manufacturing technologies and innovative processes
• Active participation in shaping and implementing the corporate strategy

Your profile:

• Technical basic training as a polymechanic, production mechanic, or machine mechanic and further education at HF or FH level
• Several years of leadership experience in a manufacturing industrial company
• Sound knowledge of machining, especially turning, milling, grinding, and/or gearing
• Experience with automation, digitalisation, and lean management projects
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong implementation skills, and a pronounced hands-on mentality
• Authentic, appreciative, and down-to-earth leadership style
• Enjoyment in developing employees and a strong presence on the shop floor
