About the job
VENIO is a vascular medicine centre with two locations in Thun. Our focus areas are the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels. We run an interdisciplinary wound consultation and care for patients with obesity.
The VENIO team consists of four doctors, twelve nursing professionals and assistants, three physiotherapists, three compression specialists and a nutritionist. Together we care for patients from the entire Bernese Oberland as well as from the Thun agglomeration.
Area of responsibility WEX
- You independently care for patients in the consultation as a wound manager.
- You work closely in the wound and laser team with other wound managers, angiological doctors and the vascular surgeon.
- You coordinate the co-care of patients by external specialists, for example Spitex.
- You apply new therapy methods such as CAMPs, PRP and laser photobiomodulation.
Area of responsibility MPA/MPK
- You assist with outpatient interventions in the practice's own operating theatre.
- You independently carry out laboratory tests, photo documentation, volumetry, oscillography, BIA analyses and ABI measurements.
- You support the doctors in the consultation.
- You support the management in organising the practice operations.
- You coordinate appointment scheduling together with the administrative staff and contribute to process optimisation.
General area of responsibility
- You are responsible for the provision, preparation and control as well as the technical handling of the required medical apparatus, devices and materials.
- You document independently in digital form.
Your profile
- Completed training as an MPA or qualified nursing professional HF as well as qualification as a certified wound expert / wound manager
- Professional experience in a larger general practitioner or specialist practice or in a hospital
- You are resilient, committed, reliable and solution-oriented and enjoy working in a team.
- You have a friendly, patient-oriented and positive attitude.
- You are familiar with handling electronic patient documentation.
