Assistant Physician Angiology (m/f/d)

Why this position?

Angiology is an integral part of the cross-site Vascular Centre soH (Bürgerspital Solothurn and Kantonsspital Olten). At the Solothurn site, we are looking for an assistant physician for specialist training in angiology starting 01.06.2027 or by arrangement.

Your responsibilities with us

• Conducting outpatient clinics initially under supervision, later independently managing the clinic
• Enjoy learning and deepening various angiological examination techniques, including advanced ultrasound techniques
• Handling inpatient consultations
• Participation in internal training sessions, case discussions, and interdisciplinary boards
• Rotations within the soH Vascular Centre in the areas of catheter laboratory, phlebology, and vascular surgery

Your profile

• Completed medical studies or equivalent training with MEBEKO recognition
• 2 years of experience in general internal medicine or already completed specialist training in general internal medicine
• Prior knowledge in angiology and/or sonography is an advantage
• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to work interdisciplinarily, high resilience, flexibility, and strong team spirit
