IT Security Analyst 100% (a)
Your area of responsibility
- Monitoring of security events, network traffic, and SIEM systems to detect potential threats.
- Analysis, handling, and documentation of security incidents as well as support in incident response.
- Conducting risk analyses, vulnerability assessments, and regular security audits.
- Implementation, operation, and optimization of security tools (e.g., IDS, PAM, SIEM).
- Application of security patches and updates as well as technical support in 2nd/3rd level support.
- Creation and maintenance of security-relevant policies, processes, and documentation.
- Collaboration with IT teams, departments, and external partners on security-related issues.
- Participation in security projects as well as support for awareness measures and training.
Your qualifications
- Completed IT training with at least 2 years of professional experience or 3–5 years of experience in the IT field.
- 3–5 years of practical experience as an IT system engineer or in a comparable technical role.
- Very good German and English skills, additional language skills are an advantage.
- Initial experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Basic knowledge in SIEM, incident response, IAM, PKI, network and cloud security is desirable.
- Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and audits is a plus.
- Basic knowledge in Python or PowerShell, knowledge of ITIL Foundation, Security+, and CCSP is an advantage.
