Regional Manager Technics (m/f/d)

About the job

As Regional Manager Technics, you ensure the technical operational readiness of up to 50 ACTIV FITNESS studios in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. You lead a technician team of 4 to 5 employees, coordinate the maintenance and servicing of all infrastructures, and ensure smooth and economical operations together with internal and external partners.

What you achieve

• You take over the professional and organisational leadership of the team and ensure a smooth process in day-to-day business.
• You accompany new employees during their onboarding, train them carefully, and support them in quickly finding their way in everyday work.
• You plan your team’s deployments proactively and are responsible for correct and reliable time tracking.
• You ensure that all technical systems and devices in the Activ Fitness regions assigned to you are always operational and functional.
• You coordinate planned as well as short-term maintenance and servicing work, implement these, and keep an eye on quality, deadlines, and execution.
• You are responsible for adhering to budget guidelines, carefully plan material requirements, and coordinate collaboration with external partners.
• You also get involved operationally yourself and support repairs on building technology as well as strength and endurance equipment.
• You take on partial project management during renovations and ensure warranty monitoring of infrastructure and devices.
• You coordinate cooperation with cleaning companies including quality assurance.

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: Specialist in operational maintenance or similar
• Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment; leadership experience is mandatory
• You bring high technical expertise in maintenance, ideally in facility management, operations, or servicing.
• With your confident, professional, and engaging manner, you build trust and convince in daily interactions with various stakeholders.
• You have several years of leadership experience and know how to lead employees clearly, motivatingly, and on an equal footing.
• You impress with a pronounced hands-on mentality and a high willingness to take responsibility also in day-to-day operations.
• You communicate confidently, clearly, and appropriately for the audience and bring an open, engaging personality.
• You think and act service-oriented, remain flexible even in a dynamic environment, and approach changes positively and solution-focused.
• You hold a valid driving licence. A company car is available for the role.
