Digital transformation and AI are changing what public administration procures and how it uses public funds effectively. As a Senior Consultant Public Procurement, you accompany federal offices, cantons and other public organisations through complex procurements, from strategy to award. In doing so, you actively help build the Public Procurement consulting offering at Eraneos Switzerland.

Your main tasks

• Leading complex procurement mandates from strategy through requirements gathering to award
• Advising on strategic, commercial and legal questions in public procurement
• Developing procurement and sourcing strategies as well as evaluating providers and solutions increasingly also in the area of AI
• Project responsibility at the interface of specialist department, processes, IT and market including management of internal and external stakeholders
• Further development of the consulting offering, competence building in the team and expansion of long-term customer relationships

This job is for you if

• You have a university degree and several years of experience in public procurement.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Swiss procurement law, especially BöB and IVöB, and confidently lead complex award procedures.
• You systematically gather specialist requirements from organisation, processes and IT and assess providers, solutions and sourcing approaches thoroughly.
• You manage complex projects in a structured way and bring together different stakeholders purposefully.
• You think entrepreneurially, take responsibility and speak German and English at C1 level.

As a cherry on top, you bring

• Project (management) experience with HERMES
• Experience in procuring IT, digitalisation or consulting services and with complex contracts
• French language skills as well as a legal background or further training at the interface of procurement and law
