The Debt Enforcement Office provides services for the town of Mellingen and the municipality of Wohlenschwil.

Due to the retirement of our head of office and the promotion of the previous deputy to head of office, we are looking for a committed, service-oriented, and responsible individual as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for the position of

Deputy Head / Deputy Head of the Debt Enforcement Office 80%

Your Tasks

• Independent processing of debt enforcement, continuation, and legal assistance requests
• Execution of seizures as well as preparation of seizure certificates and loss certificates
• Management of the retention of title register
• Execution of arrests and retentions
• Providing debt enforcement-related information at the counter and by telephone
• Handling general administrative tasks
• Supporting the head of office in the professional and organisational management as well as the further development of the Debt Enforcement Office

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience at a debt enforcement office and sound knowledge of debt enforcement and bankruptcy law (SchKG)
• Aargau professional certificate for debt enforcement specialists or willingness to obtain it
• Independent, precise, and responsible working style
• High social competence, assertiveness, and a confident and empathetic manner, even in demanding situations
• Good IT user skills (MS Office as well as specialist application eXpert)
