For our Group IT, we are looking for a Demand Manager Group IT. In this role, you take end-to-end responsibility for the group-wide demand process and act as the central interface between business and IT. You ensure that new requirements are recorded, evaluated, prioritised and successfully implemented in a structured manner. You advise our departments on the further development of their requirements, create sound decision-making bases for management and portfolio committees, and ensure transparency regarding benefits, risks, priorities and progress. With your flair for stakeholder management and your structured and solution-oriented working style, you contribute significantly to efficient collaboration between business and IT and continuously develop our demand and governance processes.
The workplace is at our new location in the Ambassador House in Zurich-Opfikon as well as in the home office.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the group-wide IT demand process from the initial idea through evaluation and prioritisation to successful handover to implementation.
- As the central interface between business and IT, you advise departments on capturing, structuring and further developing their requirements and create the basis for well-founded decisions.
- You ensure that requirements are recorded completely, transparently and with high quality and are evaluated in terms of benefits, priority, risks and dependencies.
- Together with departments and IT, you coordinate feasibility analyses, effort estimates and resource requirements and promote the active involvement of all relevant stakeholders.
- You prepare demand and portfolio committees, moderate them and support efficient prioritisation and decision-making.
- Through transparent demand portfolio management, you provide clarity on status, progress, risks and decisions and consistently follow up on agreed measures.
- In addition, you drive the continuous development of demand processes, governance and ServiceNow solutions and ensure sustainable improvements through lessons learned.
Why you will succeed
- You have a degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration or a comparable qualification.
- You already bring several years of experience in demand management, IT consulting, project management or a comparable function.
- You have a strong understanding of business processes and move confidently at the interface between business and IT.
- Experience with demand, portfolio or governance processes as well as knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira or comparable tools is an advantage.
- Analysing and structuring requirements as well as managing complex, cross-departmental topics and stakeholders are among your strengths.
- You convince with strong communication and moderation skills and manage to bring different interests together purposefully.
- You work in a structured, analytical and pragmatic way, take responsibility for your topics and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
- You communicate confidently in German and English.
